Spread the Nutella over the entire pastry. In addition, the Nutella should have room temperature, so it can be distributed nicely.
Place the second roll puff pastry above.
Halve it lengthwise. Then cut the pastry into 0,5 inch wide strips.
Screw the stripes in spirally. Take an end in each hand and turn them against each other. Lay baking paper on two baking sheets and put the sticks on it.
Stir the egg and apply it on the sticks.
Preheat the oven to 350 °F bottom and top heat. Place an oven-proof flat bowl of water on the bottom of the oven.
Bake the Nutella sticks in the oven for about 10 to 12 minutes until they are light brown.
After baking time, let them cool on a plate and then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
